Gentle Box Filler

Our various box filling platforms accurately fill boxes and cartons of various sizes with industry- leading gentleness and speed. These machines deliver superior quality, more efficiency, greater productivity, and lower costs. The top-of-the-range Gentle Box Filler+ is ideal for first-class packing of fruit such as kiwifruit and stone fruit, which bruise easily; for repacked and ripe produce, which is softer and more susceptible to damage; and for produce handled twice, once for pre-grading and then for final packaging.

Agroexport Internacional SA de CV, Mexico

In this Customer Story, we learn more about Agroexport Internacional SA de CV from Mexico. The company was founded in 2002 by Alfredo Rodríguez and his wife Laure Lemus. Their main focus is almost exclusively Hass Avocados, a variety of avocados with dark-green bumpy skin. In order to improve efficiency and quality, and to reduce labor, Agroexport was looking for a trustworthy automated solution. They found theirs in TOMRA Food's optical sorting and grading system called Spectrim, in collaboration with Rochin Postharvest. The Spectrim gives Agroexport the ability to maximize the value of each avocado by detecting critical defects such as scabs, sunburn, and fungus.
