Statement from Magdalena, Regional Service Manager

What is your role at TOMRA and what does a typical day look like for you?

My journey with TOMRA began in May 2023 when I took on the role of Team Lead for Service in Poland. During my early days at the company, there was a lot happening – new processes were being introduced, initial projects were underway, and the company was continuously evolving. These experiences helped me develop my skills and qualifications, leading to my promotion to Service Manager.

A typical workday starts with greeting my team and colleagues. It’s important to me that everyone feels part of the team and understands the significance of their work. This allows me to quickly assess the current status of our projects or tasks. Depending on the stage of each project, I engage in various activities such as contacting clients, reviewing project documentation, and implementing new processes and instructions. Our daily goal as a team is clear – to deliver the highest quality services to our clients.

What inspired you to join TOMRA?

During the recruitment interview, I was warmly welcomed by everyone I spoke with. It was a unique experience that showed me how much TOMRA values its employees. The diversity of the culture at TOMRA allows everyone to be themselves and grow. It was uplifting to find a place where I could do what I love while also helping others and the world.

What do you enjoy most about working at TOMRA?

I find great satisfaction in my work through the opportunity to change the world. TOMRA is making the world a better place by creating a waste-free environment. I also value the friendly atmosphere at work, the inspiring leaders who encourage my self-improvement, and the absence of monotony! I enjoy going to work knowing I will spend time with people who are kind, respect me, and allow me to learn from their experiences.

What are some of your hobbies or interests outside of work?

In my free time, I love to spend moments outdoors, surrounded by nature. I have a deep passion for the mountains and the sea. Swimming and cycling are my favorite activities. I always strive to find time for my family and friends, as my relationships with others are incredibly important to me. I’m interested in medicine, and I use this interest to help others. I actively engage in volunteering, where I can provide support and assistance to those in need.

How would you describe the company culture at TOMRA?

At TOMRA, we take care of each other and show respect. We believe that each of us has the power to create positive changes for our planet. Health, safety, and well-being are our top priorities.

What excites you most about the future of TOMRA?

TOMRA goes beyond all norms, offering tremendous opportunities. We have the chance to set new standards and make history. What fascinates me the most is that TOMRA continually strives to introduce innovative solutions aimed at protecting our planet.
