RFID cup registration system
The heart of the event solution is the use of a reusable cup with an embedded RFID chip which enables each cup to be identified and coupled with the payment record at the time a beverage is purchased by a consumer. This data then remains with the cup until it is returned to the cup collection machine at the event. When the cup is returned in the machine the deposit on the cup is identified and immediately refunded to the consumer’s bank card, and the data stored on the cup is simultaneously deactivated.

As all necessary payment data is stored on each cup, consumers simply have to toss their empty cups in the collection machine and that's it - each cup is scanned as it enters the machine and the deposit paid on the cup at the time of purchase is immediately refunded to the associated bank card.
